Who We Are
Charlottesville Housing Energy Crisis is a team composed of students at the University of Virginia. We are interested in cyclical poverty and have invested ourselves in breaking the cycle by mitigating energy burden for residents of Charlottesville, VA. Our group has worked together on this project for four months, and seek to continue our work in supporting Charlottesville residents far into our future.
Our Mission
We are consolidating a database and resource that centralizes currently existing programs available to residents of Charlottesville, VA. These programs relate to housing and energy costs and improvements.

We are working to alleviate the presence of energy burden in Charlottesville,VA. This is part of a larger vision of deconstructing cyclical poverty and empowering people to improve the quality of their lives.
